Amy Krigman

Amy Krigman is the Director of Public Relations for the West Region at GlobalSign, overseeing public relations for the Americas and EMEA. She joined GlobalSign in July 2017, bringing with her extensive experience from working with several cybersecurity companies at a Boston area public relations agency.

In her current role, Amy is responsible for orchestrating the West’s PR content including the full press release cycle, planning, and conducting press outreach, writing bylined articles, and managing analyst relations. She also maintains relationships with our two PR agencies in Latin America. Amy also writes the monthly NewsScam blog post, and is responsible for managing the award nomination process, keeping up-to-date on cybersecurity news, creating content for several media outlets, and generating GlobalSign news-related social media and eNewsletter content. In addition, Amy is responsible for staying connected with our branches internationally.



Professional Background:


Amy is a seasoned public relations professional with over 20 years of experience. She has spent the majority of her career at technology PR agencies, working with a diverse range of technology companies, from speech technology and insurance software to IT solutions businesses and mobile internet service providers. Earlier in her career, she worked at a consumer PR agency in Boston, handling well-known brands such as Dunkin Donuts and Timberland. Amy also has experience in journalism, having worked as an editor for a broadcast TV station in New Hampshire, where she was a video editor and news writer.



Personal Statement:


Amy finds the cybersecurity industry fascinating and enjoys its fast-paced nature. For someone in PR, the constant emergence of cybersecurity developments provides endless opportunities to find new angles and stories. She believes that cybersecurity is not just a technical necessity but a fundamental right, essential for protecting personal privacy, business integrity, and security in the digital age.

Outside of her professional life, Amy enjoys baking sweet treats in the kitchen.
